Hi there and welcome to my blog! My name is Jorge and I'm a 29 years old recreational poker player from Venezuela.

I started playing poker in a more serious matter in 2011, always playing cash games as my main game. Been playing microstakes cash games since the beginning, mostly around NL10 and a few shots at NL20 and NL25.

After a little trial, I joined SpinLegends in May 2018 to grind Spin & Goes fulltime on Pokerstars. Sadly enough, the situation in the country made it impossible for me to continue grinding consistently or even fulfilling my duties with the team. For that reason, I was released from my contract and found myself not playing poker much poker until 2 months ago.

I decided to go back to basics and return to the cash game tables where I plan to start once again at NL2 and build my BR. Currently on my way up to NL5 at 888poker.

Outside of poker, I spend most of my time at home with my wife and our baby boy. When I'm not with them I like to play video games and watch good tv shows.

Even though I started this blog as a way to record my progress at the tables you'll find the occasional rant about work and/or overall life. You've been warned.

I also got into the habit of reading a lot. Still working on making more improvements on the site and add more stuff to the blog. But so far there is some material on the books page that I plan to update very soon.
