Back to NL10
After a few okish sessions on NL20 I hit a very bad session were all of my hands crashed into better ones and the fish kept hitting their shitty hands, lost enough to decide that it was better to move back down to NL10 for a few days to gather some strength and go back up as if nothing had happened.
Haven't had the best couple of sessions back at NL10 were I've dropped a buy-in here and there so the BR is at around $410ish. Was trying to focus on getting some more volume but been getting easily distracted so I was quitting early on a few sessions, on other days I didn't even play because of work related stuff. Playing on NL20 again really helped me get over myself with my 3bets, since bets are half on NL10 it feels easier.
Since I have a vacation planned for later this month the idea would be to try and play as much as possible and aim to take another shot at NL20 before leaving. Even though the trip only lasts for 8 days that tends to be enough for me to get really bad when I return to play.
On a more personal note I'm waiting for the results of a few blood test I had done yesterday to see when I'll be able to start with my treatment. Doing therapy every single day but the pain is still there, kind of feeling related with Dr. House (House MD Tv show) about that struggle he had being in pain everyday. Trying not to sound that dramatic but it was just a thought. Lately I've been going over and over about my situation and, as unhealhty as it is (thinking about that), the thoughts keep popping in. Reading books, writing on my journal, listening to podcasts and doing my lessons on Duolingo definitely keep me distracted enough to try and stop thinking about that stuff.
For the past month or so I've been listening mostly to music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, which serves as a reminder of how shitty today's music is. Then again we live in crazy times, I mean, Trump is the president of the US and people worship the Kardashians for no reason what so ever (yes I hate them for what they are and represent). Getting a bit of topic here, gonna finish some work things while listening to some Billy Joel and The Eagles. Playing some poker after lunch, next update coming next week.
