Rocky road but working through
I've been hitting a rough patch lately with a few small losing sessions in a row accompanied with a 2 buy-in losing session yesterday which is currently putting me down a few bucks in regards of last week. For a moment I thought I had turned things around but I kept making the same mistakes over and over again, that and a few tilting spews that are usually there in this kind of situations.
Can't really point out where or things started to go wrong but it's pretty obvious where I'm standing at the moment. Not really what I was hoping for in this past week but I'll have to work with what I have. As the moment of me writing this I already missed today's session, the laptop is downloading some updates because Windows 10 does whatever the hell it wants and it can't be stopped. Also spent most of my lunch break with my doctor and doing therapy so that cut me short on time.
My current idea to start fighting my tilt issues is to drop down on the number of tables. Been doing my best to keep 6 tables running on all of my sessions to add volume but that ain't worth it anymore. I'm losing money like an idiot against even more idiotic people so slowing down and having my whole attention on just 4 tables at the moment might work, after all when I do play 6 tables on the laptop they have to overlap because of the screen size. Also have to put the lobby on top of the tables when looking for new ones so, overall, not very efficient.
After struggling so much with 3bets I'm getting the feeling that now I'm getting involved in maybe too many 3bet pots, can't know for sure until I check the data but it's just a little thought that's coming to me. Going on a trip soon and I want to use all the time avaible to me to play some quality poker. BR is at $391 if I'm not mistaken so it's not really that bad but want to get back up in the next couple of days. Since my trip is right around the corner I'll need to focus on the work ahead, all I really need is a few good sessions to motivate me enough. Playing some live poker during the vacations is not out of the picture either but won't be able to perform correctly if I keep feeling down about my results online. Gonna use the rest of my day to read a bit, go to the gym and come back tomorrow strong for the session. Will write another update next week, until then!
