Trying to make it work

Had a decent start with this sample last week but things didn't work out this week. Found myself barely playing on Monday and starting my session late yesterday so I'm falling behind on schedule again. Still, I'm determined to make up for the lost time no matter what.

On Monday, I had to take my wife to the doctor after she got intoxicated with some antibiotics. Spent all my morning with that with some scraps of stress lurking in every step of the way. Only got to sit on my laptop at around 3pm and only managed to squeeze 10 spins so it wasn't a complete waste of a day.

Yesterday I was taking her to get the treatment and by the time we were done and I was back in the office, power died. By the time it came back (at around 2:30pm) I was stuck in the bank setting up an account I had opened last week. Only played 18 spins after that.

The good news is that she finished the treatment yesterday and she's feeling way better now. I'm also done with the bank so the rest of my week should be soft and I should be able to play without any issues.

After reading an article on Medium I enrolled in a Learning How to Learn course which is turning into a pretty great experience so far. Already finishing week 1 and I'm really enjoying the information there, plus it's free.

Back on poker, I've only played 178 spins with a not so great but so bad Ev. Not checking so often but I'm keeping an eye on it. My BR is not looking so good but I should be able to turn things around. Currently downloading a couple of training videos to watch at home to make better use of my time.

That sums up the things that happened last week. Was interested in purchasing some courses on Udemy but decided to focus on poker, at least until my results improve. As usual, I'm hanging around on Twitter posting interesting/funny hands and/or thoughts (even though I said I wouldn't much). And, as always, a new update coming up next week, until then!
